[Spelunky] is the sound novices make when they hit the bottom.

Have you heard of this game?



It's called Spelunky! It was originally called "OH MY GOD, REALLY? REALLY?" because that was the most commonly uttered phrase when playing this awful awful game.

You start out as this guy:


But you can unlock lots of cool guys just by randomly finding them. I won't spoil who all you can get!

You also save damsels for health! Damsel means girl right? In Spelunky, that's up to you! Choose from any of these non-gender-or-species-normative options!



The game kinda looks like this:



Avoid traps, dodge enemies and make your way through exciting and infuriating levels. Find gold, gems and other treasure to either hoard to yourself, or buy from the shopkeeper. Hey, does that shopkeeper have something you want, but you don't have the money? Maybe just take it from him. But look out, he's dealt with your kind before, and he will tell his shopkeeper buddies what you did!

And every day there is a daily challenge. What is a daily challenge? Everybody in the world gets the same layout. When you finish your daily challenge, see how your steam friends did in a very convenient leaderboard!
