More people playing the game when Dark Arisen comes out is nice.
I got this game for Christmas. It is a blast. It is an open-world RPG with some neat mechanics. To start, you pick a class-- wizard guy, archer guy or sword and shield guy. There are more classes, you can switch later. Switching classes allows you to pick up augments, which are sort of like character skills.
You make a sidekick/mule called a pawn and give it simple commands. And you can hire other people's pawns.
The combat is weighty and at times, the good kind of ridiculous
You can finally climb on a huge ass monsters in this game, rather than waiting for them fall over.
The fast travel system is difficult to access. You are meant to walk everywhere. It is a bit tedious, but it really draws you in.

My character, Nicholas, was a Strider for 25 levels. I switched him to Fighter to get some augments, and later I will make him either an Assassin or a Magic Archer.
I sure do miss the bows now that he is a Fighter.
ferrystones can be bought around town from the fat noble guy and the black cat, also they are sometimes on the ground right outside the pawn guild near the stone circle
you also get the beacon in the area where you finally kill the griffin and salomet
