When I was a young nerd, the first pencil & paper roleplaying game I ever played was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness by Palladium Games.
One of my favorite parts of the game was the (mostly) random character generation. You roll dice and various tables tell you what kind of animal you are, how you got to be a mutant, and how good you are are at various things. I had lots of fun drawing both my and my friends' characters while I was supposed to be paying attention in class.
My plan for this thread is for people to roll up mutant characters and spend a few minutes coming up with a name, history, personality, etc. for that character based on the results of their random rolls. There is a corresponding thread in the Artist's Corner where people can post sketches of their favorite mutants. I encourage posters from both forums to participate both in the character creation and in bringing those characters to life. The Ninja Turtles themselves have been portrayed as everything from grim and gritty to cute and cartoony so there's plenty of room for interpretation.
What I need from you:
To determine what type of animal you are, use an online dice roller to roll a 100-sided die twice and post the results. (Ex: Animal Type: 43 / 67)
To determine your origin, use an online dice roller to roll a 100-sided die three times and post the results. (Ex: Origin: 21 / 89 / 46)
To determine your stats, use an online dice roller to roll 3 six-sided dice once for each attribute*. (Ex: 5 + 2 + 4 = 11) These will give you some idea of whether your mutant chicken is an especially charming or attractive mutant chicken.

Charisma
Strength
Dexterity
Endurance
Beauty
Speed
*Bonus: If your roll comes up 16, 17, or 18, you get to roll one additional die and add it to the total for that stat.

Once I have those numbers, I will reply with your animal type and origin and it will be up to you to round out your character with a name, personality, and background. Are they a science whiz? Skateboarding goof-off? Brawler with a short fuse? Disciplined natural leader?
We won't be going through skill/item selection so it will be up to you to decide on what type of fighter your character is. Do they use guns? Hand-to hand weapons? (And if so which one(s)?) Did they train with a kindly ninja master? Were they raised in a government facility to be an elite operative? Keep it brief but give them some flavor.
