In the beginning, there were dragons
The dragons sat under huge trees and didn't know death because death was a weakness they didn't possess
Then there appeared fire and introduced the arrow of time and entropy into the world
The flame drew creatures to it, creatures which came from the Dark
They found souls in the fire and used those souls to challenge the dragons
Among them were Gwyn who became head honcho of a whole pantheon of gods, the Witch of Izalith who sought to bend fire to her will, and Nito, a skeleton wearing smaller skeletons
They triumphed over the dragons but somewhere along the way things went really, really wrong
It seems like fire is fading but I guess we'll do something about it?
